Legal
Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Sheetz public site, product application, and related services.
Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use Sheetz. If you use Sheetz on behalf of a choir, school, church, nonprofit, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Accounts and access
Some parts of Sheetz require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your credentials confidential, all activity that occurs under your account, and ensuring that your use of the service complies with applicable law and these Terms.
Sheetz may use WorkOS or other authentication providers to manage sign-in, session, and identity flows.
Service description
Sheetz is a choir management product that may allow you to create and manage choirs, invite members and assign roles, upload or organize scores, documents, recordings, notes, setlists, and multitrack audio, and generate links for sharing choir materials.
Features may change over time. We may add, remove, suspend, or modify functionality at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Sheetz for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or rights-infringing activity.
- not attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- not interfere with the service or its infrastructure;
- not upload malware, malicious code, or harmful content;
- not use Sheetz to violate intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
- not share content unless you have the necessary rights to do so;
- not use share links to bypass access controls or violate applicable law.
Choir data and user content
You retain ownership of the content you upload or create in Sheetz, including choir data, documents, notes, recordings, setlists, and share-link content.
You grant the operator of Sheetz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, and process that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service.
- You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload and share the content.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate law or third-party rights.
- Your use of Google Drive imports, recordings, scores, and other files must comply with the terms that apply to those materials.
Invites and share links
Sheetz includes features for inviting members by email and sharing materials through direct links. You are responsible for using those features only with people authorized to receive the relevant materials.
If you create a share link, you are also responsible for choosing the correct settings, including any available expiration options.
Intellectual property
The Sheetz service, including its software, interface, brand, and original materials, is owned by or licensed to the operator of Sheetz and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service itself. They only grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Sheetz in accordance with these Terms.
Third-party services
Sheetz may rely on third-party providers, including authentication, hosting, analytics, edge delivery, and optional Google Drive integrations. Those third parties may have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for the separate services they provide.
Paid features and pricing
The current repository and marketing site describe a possible future pricing model with free access, a one-time paid plan, and add-ons. Until a paid checkout flow is made available in production, references to pricing, upgrades, or future paid plans are informational only and do not themselves create a binding purchase offer.
- additional commercial terms may be presented at checkout;
- pricing, taxes, payment methods, refund rules, and billing details will be disclosed before purchase;
- specific payment-processor terms may also apply.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Sheetz if you violate these Terms, if your use creates operational, legal, or security risk, if we are required to do so by law, or if the service is changed, discontinued, or shut down.
You may stop using Sheetz at any time.
Availability and changes
Sheetz may be updated, interrupted, or unavailable from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, or that every feature will remain available in its current form.
You should keep your own copies of important materials.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sheetz is provided on an as is and as available basis without express, implied, or statutory warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of Sheetz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the use of Sheetz.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of Sheetz from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your content, your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
Governing law and forum
Where Brazilian consumer protection law applies, mandatory consumer rights and venue rules will prevail.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the last updated date and, where required, provide additional notice.
